wayyiśʾû ʾet-ʿênêhem mērāḥôq wǝlōʾ hikkîrūhû wayyiśʾû qôlām wayyibkû wayyiqrǝʿû ʾîš mǝʿilô wayyizrǝqû ʿāpār ʿal-rāʾšêhem haššāmāyǝmâ

But when they gazed intently from a distance but did not recognize him, they began to weep loudly. Each of them tore his robes, and they threw dust into the air over their heads.

Lorsqu’ils l’aperçurent de loin, ils ne le reconnurent pas, et ils se mirent à pleurer à grand bruit. Ils déchirèrent leur manteau et jetèrent de la poussière en l’air, au-dessus de leur tête.
