wǝʾim-yēḥābǝʾû bǝrōʾš hakkarmel miššām ʾăḥappēś ûlǝqaḥtîm wǝʾim-yissātǝrû minneged ʿênay bǝqarqaʿ hayyām miššām ʾăṣawwê ʾet-hannāḥāš ûnǝšākām

Even if they were to hide on the top of Mount Carmel, I would hunt them down and take them from there. Even if they tried to hide from me at the bottom of the sea, from there I would command the Sea Serpent to bite them.

S’ils se cachent au sommet du Carmel, je les y chercherai |et les attraperai, et s’ils plongent au fond des mers, |pour se dérober à mes yeux, je donnerai l’ordre au serpent |d’aller les mordre là.
